Shropshire Council completes 12 community test events throughout rural Shropshire using the toolkit.

 
Toolkit workshops held in Devon

Toolkit training workshops were held in Torridge and West Devon during February 2009.

These were designed to create a pool of around 50 individuals (a mixture of local authority officers and local champions) who are familiar with the toolkit and can act as both facilitators and champions to support its application and further development locally.

Materials and feedback from these training sessions can be downloaded below:

  • Section One: A sample programme for a training event and related guidance notes.
  • Section Two: A summary of the evaluation responses received.
  • Section Three: New guidance notes on putting on a community testing event.
  • Section Four: A set of Frequently Asked Questions about the Toolkit.
  • Section Five: A paper capturing specific feedback on the toolkit documents gathered from the two sessions.
  • Annex One: A plain version of a colour wheel for use in Exercise One
  • Annex Two: A full version of the colour wheel for illustrative purposes
  • Annex Three: A worked example of the toolkit for use in Exercise One
  • Annex Four: Powerpoint presentation including slides on the purpose of the toolkit and how it works and organising a community testing events (Warning: 1Mb powerpoint file)
